As most people are now aware the Companies Registration Office (CRO) is becoming more pro-active in ensuring that all company secretarial mattes are up to date. In the past this has not been the case.
There is now an obligation on companies to make their annual returns on time and if this is not done fines can be levied on directors and in some cases the companies can be struck off the register making it illegal for them to continue to trade.
In addition, the company’s office has now appointed an enforcer who is entitled to call at the company registered office to view share registers, minute books etc. And if these are not up to date there is the possibility again of fines being charged.
We have a dedicated Company Secretarial Department which can update all company statutory records and maintain them to meet the requirements of the CRO. In addition we can provide company registration office facilities so that we can deal with the enforcer when he/she comes on an inspection visit.
