David Isaacson studied at Trinity College (Dublin University) and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree. He then joined Stokes Kennedy Crowley (now KPMG) as a Trainee Chartered Accountant, working mainly in the General Practice area of the firm. During this time he was appointed Audit Manager.
In 1980 David set up in Partnership with Alan W. Green and together they practiced under the style of Green Isaacson & Co. On 1 February 2000, the firm merged with Ormsby and Rhodes and David became a partner.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a Registered Auditor. As a Partner in Ormsby and Rhodes, he has responsibility for the technical audit matters and is involved in the development of auditing practices, programmes and procedures within the firm.
David has dealt with large Irish-owned firms and subsidiaries of overseas multi-nationals. He has also looked after the affairs of small and medium-sized Irish and family-owned overseas businesses. His role is to provide them with general financial advice in addition to audit, accounting and taxation services.
